Matches that fit what you're after
Every member gets match suggestions each day, picked for them rather than thrown at them.
The matching weighs the age range you set, who you want to meet, how far away people are and how recently they were active. It also looks at the kind of arrangement you've asked for, your lifestyle (drinking and smoking count) and the interests you share. If you want a fuck buddy in their fifties who lives within half an hour, say so on your profile and your suggestions follow.
You can browse profiles at your own pace as well, post status updates and photos, comment on other members' posts and take part in polls and quizzes. A comment on someone's photo or update is an easier opener than a cold "hello".
Someone close to home
Every profile shows the member's nearest town or city, never their address, so you can tell at a glance who is within reach. Your daily matches already weigh distance. VIP members get the advanced search filters on top: search by city and by distance, and narrow it down by what people are open to and how experienced they are.

Talk when you're ready
Classic membership, where everyone starts, comes with a daily allowance of messages, and a message from a VIP or VIP Plus member can always be opened and answered. VIP takes the limit away, so you can talk to as many people as you like, whenever you like.
- Chat rooms. VIPs can drop into members-only chat rooms when they fancy a livelier crowd.
- Private group chats. A VIP can set up a private chat for up to 50 people, and Classic members can be invited in.
- See who likes you. VIPs see everyone who has liked them, so nobody has to guess.
- Rewind. Passed on someone too quickly? VIPs can go back and look again.
Get seen first with VIP Plus
VIP Plus has everything in VIP and puts you at the front of the queue. Your profile sits at the top of other members' daily suggestions, your messages and likes get priority placement, and you get access to exclusive matches. Two add-ons can be bought on top: a profile boost that shows you to active members in your area, and Super Match, a highlighted message your match always sees first.

Know who you're talking to
Free ID verification is open to every member. Pass it and a verified badge appears on your profile, so people know they're talking to someone genuine. If you'd rather not send a document, a short live video check with a moderator confirms who you are instead, and our team can also validate a profile by hand.
Badges are earned as well as given: Verified shows you've passed the ID check, and Chatterbox, Heartthrob and Most Popular show who is active and well liked. Every member also has a rating that reflects their behaviour and other members' feedback, which helps you judge someone before replying.
Photos that might be explicit are blurred with a warning until you choose to look, so nothing lands in front of you unasked. Our safety page lists every protection.

Feature questions, answered
Can I send messages without VIP?
Yes, a set number each day as a Classic member, and you can always read and reply to messages from VIP and VIP Plus members. VIP removes the daily limit.
What does VIP Plus add to VIP?
Visibility. Your profile goes to the top of other members' daily suggestions, your messages and likes get priority placement, and you get exclusive matches. Profile boosts and Super Match can be added on top.
Do other members see my ID documents?
No. Members only see the verified badge on your profile. If you'd rather not use a document at all, a live video check with a moderator proves who you are.
Does Old F-Buddy have an app?
Old F-Buddy runs in your phone's browser and can be added to your home screen, where it opens like an app. Nothing to download from an app store.
