Is Old F-Buddy Legit?
The checks that matter before you join any adult site, and how Old F-Buddy measures up.
The short answer
Yes. Old F-Buddy is a genuine UK site for adults who want no strings fun, online since 2012. Prices are published in full, members can verify their identity, every upload is screened, and a support team is on hand 24 hours a day.
Who runs Old F-Buddy?
The site has matched older men and women for no strings fun since 2012. It runs on a dating platform it shares with sister sites, which is why its member area includes members with all interests and characteristics, and why our search settings let you find exactly who you're looking for.
The company that operates the service is based in the Isle of Man. Its full name and address, your rights and the rules every member agrees to are set out in the terms you see when you join. The terms, privacy policy, cookie policy and anti-slavery policy are linked from the foot of every page on this site. You can read more about the site's story on our about us page.
Are the members real?
Every image, video and piece of text is screened as it is uploaded, by software and by people. Automated monitoring looks for the patterns that scammers and bots leave behind. On top of that, anyone can prove who they are, either with an ID document, which earns a badge on the profile, or in a quick live video call with a moderator.
Each member also has a reputation score, shaped by their behaviour and by feedback from the people they've talked to. And the crowd is who you came for: more than four in five members are at least 35, half are 45-plus, and women make up about half of the UK side.
What does it cost, and can you cancel?
Classic membership, where everyone starts, carries no charge. VIP and VIP Plus are paid plans, sold for a week, a month, three months, six months or a year, and every price is on our prices page before you join. The weekly, monthly, three-month and six-month plans renew until you cancel; the 12-month plans are one payment and do not renew.
The terms say you can cancel by contacting the support team or through the chat bot. Payments, messages and personal details are protected by full SSL encryption on PCI-compliant infrastructure.
Is Old F-Buddy safe and discreet?
Other members only ever see a username and the nearest town. Explicit images sit behind a blur until someone chooses to open them, blocking or reporting takes a tap, and a warning pops up if someone pushes to move the chat to WhatsApp or another app. Our safety page lists every protection, and our page on keeping a discreet fuck buddy covers privacy in more detail.
Five checks before you join any adult site
Are the prices published?
A genuine site tells you what every plan costs and whether it renews before you hand over a card.
Do the terms name the operator?
Look for a company name, an address and the law the terms are governed by.
Is there real support?
You should be able to reach a person, and to cancel, without a fight.
Are there age and identity checks?
Over 18s only, and a way for members to prove who they are.
Does it promise the impossible?
No honest site can promise you sex tonight. Promises like that are a red flag.
